APM Ward 5 Councilorship Aspirants Call for Transparency in Candidate Selection
Councilorship aspirants under the Allied People's Movement (APM) in Ward 5, Ona Ara Local Government, have called on party leaders to uphold transparency, fairness, and due process in the selection of the party's candidate for the forthcoming local government elections.
The aspirants — Eniade Johnson, Wasiu Ridwan, Saheed Odeyemi, Oduola Rasaq, and Badepade Samuel — emphasized that, contrary to reports circulating in some quarters, no aspirant has officially emerged as the APM Councilorship candidate for Ward 5.
According to the aspirants, the credibility of the party depends on a transparent and inclusive process that gives every qualified aspirant an equal opportunity to contest.
The aspirants expressed confidence that a credible and transparent process would strengthen unity within the APM, build members' trust, and position the party for success in the forthcoming local government elections.
