Just In: Remi Tinubu to Inaugurate Tompolo-Backed PBAT Door-to-Door Movement’s Abuja Headquarters Ahead of 2027 Elections

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is scheduled to inaugurate the Abuja headquarters of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement on Friday, October 23, as the grassroots mobilisation group intensifies efforts to build support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

The inauguration is expected to attract leaders of the movement, political stakeholders, coordinators and supporters from different parts of the country, marking a significant milestone in the organisation’s mobilisation activities ahead of the next general elections.

The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement is focused on grassroots engagement and political mobilisation in support of President Tinubu, with its approach centred on reaching citizens at the community level to promote the administration’s agenda and strengthen support for the president’s anticipated second-term bid.

The establishment of its Abuja headquarters is expected to provide a central point for coordinating the movement’s activities, engaging stakeholders and strengthening its organisational structure ahead of the next electoral cycle.

The movement, described as backed by prominent businessman and former militant leader Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, is positioning itself within the growing network of political groups rallying support for Tinubu’s second-term ambition.

The planned inauguration comes as political actors and support groups begin laying the groundwork for the 2027 elections, with grassroots mobilisation, public engagement and political alliances expected to feature prominently in the build-up to the polls.
