ENGR. FUNMI OBISESAN: LIGHTING UP ONA-ARA, DELIVERING DEVELOPMENT TO THE PEOPLE

In every community, meaningful leadership is measured not only by promises, but by the visible impact that improves the daily lives of the people. In Ona-Ara Constituency, Engr. Funmi Obisesan continues to distinguish herself through initiatives focused on practical development, community safety, and improved living conditions.

As a committed daughter of the soil, Engr. Obisesan has continued to champion interventions that respond directly to the needs of residents.

Through her strategic engagement and strong working relationship with Sen. Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, she has facilitated the provision and installation of solar-powered streetlights across several strategic locations within the constituency.

LIGHTING UP OUR COMMUNITIES

The solar streetlight intervention covers key areas including Araromi-Aperin, Aperin-Oniyo, Olunloyo, Tioya, and other communities across Ona-Ara.

For residents, the impact goes beyond illumination. Well-lit roads and communities provide better visibility at night, make movement safer, support commercial activities, and contribute to a greater sense of security for families and businesses.

For commuters who travel through these routes after dark, the installation of solar lights represents an important step toward creating safer and more accessible communities.

A LEADERSHIP APPROACH THAT DELIVERS

Engr. Funmi Obisesan's intervention reflects a simple but important principle: leadership should be connected to the real needs of the people.

Rather than waiting for development to happen, she has continued to engage relevant stakeholders and pursue initiatives capable of producing measurable benefits within the constituency.

The solar streetlights are therefore not merely infrastructure projects; they represent a commitment to community development and a practical response to the everyday challenges faced by residents.

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP FOR GREATER IMPACT

The success of this intervention also highlights the importance of strategic collaboration in achieving sustainable development.

Through her engagement with Sen. Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, Engr. Obisesan continues to build a pathway for interventions that can positively transform communities across Ona-Ara.

The objective remains clear: identify genuine community needs, mobilise the necessary support, and deliver solutions that directly impact the people.

ONA-ARA DESERVES MORE

From improved infrastructure to community-focused initiatives, Ona-Ara deserves leadership that listens, engages, and acts.

The installation of solar-powered streetlights across strategic communities is another step toward building a constituency where residents can move with greater confidence, businesses can operate more effectively, and communities can enjoy improved infrastructure.

As these lights illuminate the streets of Ona-Ara, they also symbolise a broader vision of progress—a constituency moving steadily toward a brighter and better future.

Engr. Funmi Obisesan remains committed to advancing initiatives that place the people at the heart of development.

LIGHTING THE WAY. BUILDING THE FUTURE.

Moving Ona-Ara Forward.

Development. Action. Representation. Results.
