HON.SALADEEN KABEER DELIVERS ON SCHOLARSHIP PLEDGE, STRENGTHENS EDUCATION SUPPORT IN SAKI WEST

Hon. Salaudeen Kabeer Adebayo, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) House of Assembly candidate for Saki West State Constituency, has fulfilled his scholarship promise to Ademola Bushroh of Omolayo Schools and College, Saki, converting a commitment made during the institution’s Valedictory Service into concrete educational support for the student.

The scholarship was formally presented on Wednesday in a development that brought renewed attention to the importance of supporting students and strengthening educational opportunities within the community.

The initial promise was made during the school’s Valedictory Service, where the academic achievements of students were celebrated. The subsequent fulfilment of the pledge has now provided the beneficiary with direct support for his continued educational pursuit.

Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Salaudeen Kabeer Adebayo reaffirmed the priority he places on education, declaring that his focus on education remains second to none. He stressed the importance of encouraging students and creating avenues through which young people can pursue their academic aspirations with greater confidence.

According to the thrust of his remarks, educational development should not be limited to classroom instruction alone but should also encompass practical support capable of helping students overcome barriers that may affect their academic progress.

The fulfilment of the scholarship therefore represents both a direct intervention for Ademola Bushroh and a broader expression of support for education. By following through on the commitment, Adebayo has provided the student with assistance that can contribute to his continued academic development.

The initiative was welcomed by the management of Omolayo Schools and College, with the institution’s Proprietor, Mr. Omolayo Afeez, expressing his appreciation to Hon. Salaudeen Kabeer for remembering and supporting one of the school’s students.

Mr. Omolayo commended the gesture and prayed fervently for success in all Adebayo’s endeavours. His response reflected the school’s appreciation of efforts directed toward improving the welfare and educational prospects of its students.

The scholarship presentation also highlighted the role that community stakeholders can play alongside schools and families in supporting education. At a time when educational advancement requires contributions from multiple sectors of society, targeted interventions such as scholarships can provide meaningful assistance to individual learners.

For Ademola Bushroh, the scholarship comes as an important addition to his educational journey, offering support while serving as an encouragement to remain focused on his studies and future aspirations.

The development further illustrates how commitments made in the course of community engagements can have direct consequences when translated into practical action. In this instance, a promise made during a school ceremony has culminated in a scholarship being presented to the intended beneficiary.

The Wednesday presentation consequently stood as both the fulfilment of a specific scholarship commitment and an affirmation of Hon. Salaudeen Kabeer Adebayo’s publicly stated emphasis on education, while the appreciation and prayers from the proprietor of Omolayo Schools and College added further significance to the occasion.
