Oyo 2027: INEC Publishes ADC Oyo State Senatorial and House of Representatives Candidates

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially published the list of candidates of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the 2027 National Assembly elections in Oyo State.
The publication confirms the party's candidates for the three senatorial districts and the House of Representatives constituencies across the state, providing clarity to party supporters, stakeholders, and the electorate as political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
For the Senate, the ADC has nominated Hon. Kamil Akinlabi Mudashiru for Oyo Central Senatorial District, Sule Kabiru Ayinde for Oyo North Senatorial District, and Mrs. Tanimowo Modupe Grace for Oyo South Senatorial District. The three candidates are expected to spearhead the party's senatorial campaigns and mobilise support across their respective districts.
For the House of Representatives, the published candidates include:
- Architect Lawal Basiru Aremu – Atisbo/Saki East/Saki West Federal Constituency
- Olusogo Akinyemi Akinpelu – Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency
- Hon. Daudu Akanni Olalere – Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency
- Gbadamosi Mumeen Abolaji – Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency
- Ogunsola Olutokunbo Olutomi – Oluyole Federal Constituency
- Oyelade Babatunde Akanbi – Ogbomoso North/Ogbomoso South/Oriire Federal Constituency
- Dr. Abdulsalam Abdulazeez – Irepo/Orelope/Olorunsogo Federal Constituency
- Engineer Amid Adekunle Adebayo – Afijio/Atiba/Oyo East/Oyo West Federal Constituency
- Hon. Fashola E. Olubowale – Ibadan North-East/Ibadan South-East Federal Constituency
- Olaore Musa Olayiwola – Ibarapa Central/Ibarapa North Federal Constituency
- Adedokun James Seun – Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency
- Ojetayo Okikiola Ayoade – Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency
- Sarafadeen Akinkunmi Mohammed – Ogo Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency
With the publication of the candidates' names, the ADC has formally presented its National Assembly flag bearers across Oyo State, marking another significant milestone in the build-up to the 2027 general elections.
The release of the candidates by INEC is expected to intensify campaign activities as political parties continue consultations, grassroots mobilisation, and strategic engagements ahead of the polls.
