2027: ADC Diaspora Leadership Rallies Support for Atiku–Amaechi Presidential Ticket
As preparations for Nigeria's 2027 general elections gather momentum, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Diaspora Network has publicly declared its support for the presidential ticket of former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and former Rivers State Governor Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.
Supporters of the Atiku–Amaechi ticket describe the alliance as one that combines extensive experience in national administration with executive leadership.
He stated that the ADC platform presents an opportunity for Nigerians to embrace credible leadership capable of driving economic recovery, strengthening national security, promoting institutional reforms, and restoring public confidence in governance.
The endorsement campaign also received support from Hon. Princess Maimunat Wada, whose promotional efforts were acknowledged as a demonstration of collaboration among party stakeholders across both local and international structures. Party members described the synergy as evidence of a united front working toward a common objective.
As the countdown to the 2027 elections continues, the ADC says it remains committed to presenting what it describes as a credible alternative for Nigerians seeking a new direction. The party called on citizens at home and in the diaspora to actively participate in the democratic process and support leaders they believe can promote national unity, sustainable development, and inclusive governance.
