ADC National Leadership Reaffirms Hon. Daniel Akeni's Mandate, Dismisses Contrary Claims
The National Leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has reaffirmed the authority and mandate of Hon. Daniel Akeni within the ADC Diaspora Network (ADC-DN), while declaring all previous counter-claims and disclaimers against him null, void, and without official backing.
According to the statement, Hon. Akeni remains the duly recognized leader entrusted by the party's highest national organs to continue executing his strategic responsibilities and strengthening the activities of the ADC Diaspora Network.
The party further directed all ADC structures, including state chapters, international branches, affiliated groups, and external stakeholders, to refrain from any actions capable of disrupting or undermining Hon. Akeni's leadership and ongoing initiatives.
The statement declared that every previous memo, disclaimer, or public communication aimed at questioning or invalidating Hon. Akeni's authority has been officially withdrawn and rendered ineffective.
Emphasizing the party's unified command structure, the National Leadership stressed that only communications originating from the recognized National Secretariat represent the official position of the African Democratic Congress. It urged members of the public and party faithful to disregard parallel statements issued by individuals without constitutional authority.
