ADC Party Uploads Atiku, Amaechi's Names To INEC Nomination Portal For 2027 Polls
According to Abdullahi, the submission of the candidates' details to the electoral body's portal underscores the party's determination to position itself as a viable alternative for Nigerians ahead of the next presidential election.
The announcement was made on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, by the ADC National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, who disclosed the development in a post on his Facebook page.
Abdullahi described the upload as an important stage in the party's electoral preparations, adding that the ADC remains committed to presenting what it believes is a credible platform capable of addressing Nigeria's challenges.
The ADC has in recent months positioned itself as one of the platforms seeking to challenge the dominance of the country's major political parties, with the emergence of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as its presidential candidate and former Rivers State Governor and ex-Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, as his running mate.
