Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a True Democrat – Yoruba Youth Council Hails President's Intervention on Osun State Accounts
The Yoruba Youth Council (YYC) has commended President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for directing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to immediately vacate the court order freezing the bank accounts of the Osun State Government, describing the intervention as a significant demonstration of his commitment to democracy, constitutional governance, and the rule of law.
The Council noted that President Tinubu's action further reinforces his reputation as a democrat who prioritizes national interest above partisan politics, while safeguarding the integrity of Nigeria's democratic institutions.
The YYC added that the President's directive sends a strong message that democratic institutions must always operate within the framework of fairness, justice, and constitutional order, while reassuring Nigerians that his administration remains committed to strengthening democratic governance.
While reaffirming its confidence in President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda, the Yoruba Youth Council urged Nigerian youths to remain peaceful, law-abiding, and actively participate in the democratic process, stressing that democracy can only flourish where justice, equity, and the rule of law prevail.
